What data we collect<\/h2>\n<h3>2.1 Data you provide voluntarily<\/h3>\n<p>Through the contact forms available on the website (the &#8220;Contact us&#8221; form, the purchase enquiry form, the vehicle sale proposal form and the general information request form) we collect:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>first name and last name;<\/li>\n<li>e-mail address;<\/li>\n<li>telephone number;<\/li>\n<li>any information about the vehicle you are interested in or are offering (vehicle family, tractor unit or semi-trailer type, make and model, year);<\/li>\n<li>the free-text content of the notes field and the page of the website from which the request was sent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The same processing applies to data sent to us spontaneously by e-mail or provided by telephone.<\/p>\n<h3>2.2 Browsing data<\/h3>\n<p>The IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols: IP addresses, browser and operating system type, URIs of the requested resources, time of the request, response status code and other parameters relating to the user&#8217;s operating system. This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the website, to ensure its correct operation and to establish liability in the event of computer crimes against the website.<\/p>\n<h3>2.3 Cookies and similar technologies<\/h3>\n<p>The website uses technical cookies and, subject to the user&#8217;s consent, third-party analytics and profiling cookies. Consent is managed through the <strong>Cookiebot<\/strong> platform (Usercentrics A\/S). Nature of the provision of data<\/h2>\n<p>Providing the data marked as mandatory in the forms is necessary in order to act on your request: without it we will not be able to reply. Providing the remaining data is optional and failure to do so has no consequences other than a less accurate reply. Consent to non-technical cookies is always optional and refusing it does not affect your ability to browse the website.<\/p>\n<h2>5. Recipients of the data<\/h2>\n<p>Data is processed by the Controller&#8217;s authorised staff and may be disclosed to third parties acting as data processors pursuant to Article 28 GDPR, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the provider of hosting and website maintenance services;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Google Ireland Ltd.<\/strong>, for the professional e-mail services (Google Workspace) used to receive and manage requests submitted through the forms, and for the Google Tag Manager service used to manage the website&#8217;s tags;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Usercentrics A\/S<\/strong> (Cookiebot), for collecting and storing proof of cookie consent;<\/li>\n<li>consultants, professionals and providers of administrative, accounting and legal services, to the extent necessary to perform their respective engagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Data may also be disclosed to the competent authorities in the cases provided for by law. Personal data is never disseminated, sold or transferred to third parties for their own marketing purposes.<\/p>\n<h2>6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area<\/h2>\n<p>Some of the providers listed in section 5 belong to corporate groups established in the United States and may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers take place on the basis of the appropriate safeguards provided for in Chapter V GDPR, in particular the European Commission&#8217;s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 concerning the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where the provider adheres to it, or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. A copy of the safeguards adopted may be requested by writing to <a href=\"mailto:amministrazione@trailix.it\">amministrazione@trailix.it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>7. Retention period<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Requests submitted through the forms and related correspondence:<\/strong> retained for as long as necessary to handle the request and, thereafter, for a maximum of 24 months, unless the relationship develops into a contractual one.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Data relating to contractual relationships:<\/strong> retained for 10 years from the end of the relationship, in compliance with civil law and tax obligations (Article 2220 of the Italian Civil Code).<\/li>\n<li><strong>System logs and browsing data:<\/strong> retained for a limited period, as a rule no longer than 12 months, unless required to investigate criminal offences.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Proof of cookie consent:<\/strong> retained for 12 months, in line with the duration of the consent collected through Cookiebot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the end of the periods indicated, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.<\/p>\n<h2>8. Your rights<\/h2>\n<p>As a data subject you have the right to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>obtain access to your personal data and a copy of it (Art. 15 GDPR);<\/li>\n<li>obtain the rectification of inaccurate data or the completion of incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR);<\/li>\n<li>obtain the erasure of your data in the cases provided for (Art. 17 GDPR);<\/li>\n<li>obtain the restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR);<\/li>\n<li>receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and transmit it to another controller (Art. 20 GDPR);<\/li>\n<li>object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR);<\/li>\n<li>withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal (Art. 7(3) GDPR).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requests can be sent to <a href=\"mailto:amministrazione@trailix.it\">amministrazione@trailix.it<\/a>. The Controller will respond without undue delay and in any case within one month of receiving the request, a deadline that may be extended by two months in particularly complex cases.<\/p>\n<p>If you believe that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, <strong>Garante per la protezione dei dati personali<\/strong> (Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.garanteprivacy.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.garanteprivacy.it<\/a>), with the supervisory authority of your country of residence, or to bring proceedings before the competent court.<\/p>\n<h2>9. Data security<\/h2>\n<p>The Controller implements technical and organisational measures appropriate to ensure a level of security commensurate with the risk, pursuant to Article 32 GDPR, including encrypted data transmission via the HTTPS protocol, access control to systems, keeping software up to date and performing regular backups. No security measure can, however, guarantee absolute protection.<\/p>\n<h2>10. Children&#8217;s data<\/h2>\n<p>The website and the services offered are intended exclusively for adults and are not designed to collect personal data from children under the age of 14. Should we become aware of having collected such data without the consent of the holder of parental responsibility, we will delete it promptly.<\/p>\n<h2>11. Links to third-party websites<\/h2>\n<p>The website may contain links to third-party websites, including the Controller&#8217;s social media profiles. The Controller has no control over such websites and is not responsible for the processing of personal data carried out there: we invite you to consult their respective privacy notices.<\/p>\n<h2>12. Changes to this notice<\/h2>\n<p>The Controller reserves the right to amend or simply update the content of this notice, in whole or in part, including as a result of changes in applicable law. The version in force from time to time is the one published on this page, showing the date it was last updated.
